  We enjoyed our relaxing stay in a picture book setting

  Liked: The hotel and room were cozy, with a wonderful view from our balcony. Breakfast was tasty with comfortable nooks to sit in. It was like being in a postcard — a beautiful valley and town in the Alps.

  Excellent. I would highly recommend to family or friends. This could be a very romantic place to stay for young couples

  Liked: This was one of the most beautiful rooms I have stayed in and I have been hopping Greek islands for two weeks now. Very modern, light filled room with superb windows and deck. I really really appreciated having screens on the windows so I could leave them open without getting mosquito bites ( they are pretty aggressive in the outdoor cafes as dusk ). The bed was top notch comfort with high quality linens. Bathroomthoroughly updated with very modern amenities. I thought I was dreaming when I saw the room for the amount I paid. Alas, the storm that came in precluded using the beautiful rooftop deck but that’s just bad luck on my part

  Disliked: In fairness the proprietor did put up a huge disclaimer about three flights of stairs. I just didn’t appreciate they would be the ones leading up to the unit. I am in good shape with minimal luggage so this was only a minor annoyance. People should be aware the steps are wide and spaced but they are steep and uneven I wouldn’t let that keep me from such a delightful room with a outstanding view of the harbor

  Liked: The staff were attentive and polite. They always made sure I had any coffee or tea in addition to my breakfast. I looked forward to the breakfast each day with their fresh bread and range of choices. I found the area as a female lone traveller to be safe and an easy walk to shops and restuarants. I would definitely come here again. I loved having a balcony looking out to the alps. I made a hot tea each morning before breakfast and just enjoyed the view.

  Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Garni Brunnthaler

  Liked: Location of this hotel was perfect. We were able to walk out the front door and walk to train station, and the middle of town where there were plenty of shops and restaurants available. The staff was very helpful in helping guide us to different places we wanted to go as well. The breakfast was wonderful and those cappuccinos were fabulous!
