  Liked: The directions and check-in instruction were very clear and the host responded promptly to messages. Very good location - a short walk to the train station and the centres of Garmisch and Partenkirchen. The apartment is well equipped with a full oven and washing machine. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a lovely mountain view after a day out walking.

  Amazing, cozy and perfectly located property close to the heart of Garmisch

  Liked: This was the nicest property we've stayed in during the last year of travels. Communication with the host was amazing, the view was rivaled only by the careful attention to every detail in the apartment and the location was close to the train station but a million miles away from it once you stepped into the apartment. It was well stocked and yet not cluttered and the bed was excellent.

  Disliked: This is extremely minor given the hosts multiple efforts to explain how to reach the apartment. The only thing I would add (and I could have missed this clue) is to mention the name of the retail space on the ground floor that faces out onto the street even though the emphasis in the directions about going to the back of the building given in the directions is absolutely correct. It did not help that we arrived via train in a rainstorm and were simultaneously juggling luggage, umbrellas and mobile phone with the GPS running (i.e. we did not have enough hands to do all three very well;-) Again, the host provided excellent direction and lots of good communication but a little bigger context of the neighboring landmarks would help those who are Google Map challenged.

  Good Base for Garmisch-Partenkirchen and surrounds

  Liked: It was a very nice location if you come by car, but garmisch-partenkirchen was also more expensive in accomodations than we thought so this apartment was very good value for money, we drove from there to most places we wanted to see each day, was also nice to be able to cook and make dinners so save some money on this part of our trip, the apartment also had enough space.

  Disliked: Not a complaint, but the freezer just needs to be checked more often it was so frozen up we had to make a plan to get it out to be able to use the freezer.
