Good
Liked: We enjoyed our stay, location was great and the steam room and sauna were very nice. The staff were very nice.
Disliked: No wifi in the hotel room.
Lovely traditional hotel surrounded by mountains
Liked: The hotel is within walking distance to the train station, there's a bus stop nearby, and its close to the town centre and plenty of restaurants, so location is excellent. The hotel also issues a free guest pass for the local buses, which makes getting around without a car very convenient. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The room had everything we needed (except for air-conditioning, which we knew about when we booked) and was comfortable. Breakfasts were perhaps not the most extensive we enjoyed during our European vacation, but there was plenty of food and a reasonable selection to choose from, served in style in the dining room (or on the terrace). Also they serve afternoon tea (literally - dont expect anything else) in the lounge every day, which is a really nice touch. All in all, i think reasonable value for money.
Disliked: Room faced west and was pretty warm in the hot summer evening - even with the balcony door open it was hard to get much of a breeze. Could be a problem if European summers become hotter.

Liked: the breakfast was exceptional. There was a sauna but I didnt use use it but nice that its available. Location is great, short walking distance into town.
Disliked: nothing really. The room was basic but had everything i needed

Good location with beautiful views of the mountain and great breakfast!
Liked: Hotel is very centrally located and 4/5 mins walk to town centre. Station is a 7 min walk. Architecture of the hotel is old but it has very good view from the balcony. The staff is very helpful and friendly including the cleaning lady. Reception did help us with good recommendations of hikes and places to visit. In the evening the hotel serves tea. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room are great relaxation after a long hike day. Breakfast is amazing and served hot and the chef and girls serving are very friendly and pleasant people to see and talk in the morning.
