  Poor sleep, otherwise good

  Liked: The lady who seemed to own the hotel was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good.

  Disliked: The pillows were completely worn out. I really could not sleep well at all.

  Lovely friendly family hotel

  Liked: Excellent breakfast,both hot and cold food available and a good variety.Hotel is ideally situated for restaurants and shops and is easy flat walk to the Station.There is a bus stop nearby if you have heavy cases.

  Liked: Family run and super friendly hosts! Nicest Hoteliers I encountered in Germany on my travels to date. Location couldn't be better. Small and cosy otherwise as per the description and photos.

  Very good, and we would like stay again when returning to Lindau

  Liked: Location near the quieter end of Lindau but within comfortable walking distance of the port and the station. The general atmosphere. Choice of outdoor and indoor areas for breakfast. Quick provision of a more suitable pillow when requested. Being the only non-Germans there as far as we could tell, so we didn't feel too much like tourists. Reliable taxi booked for us by the hotel to return to the airport.

  Disliked: It was really hot on the sunny side of the street. The fan was good, and completely silent, but not enough to cool the room. (Temperatures on the island were in the mid-30s in mid-August)

  Cozy stay in Lindau

  Liked: The room was big and comfortable, with nice sofa and chairs. The mini-bar had nice selection of drinks for reasonable price, wi-fi worked well, the bed was comfortable. The room was warm (it was extremely important, because the weather was rainy and quite cold) and the bathroom had both shower and a bath. Everything was super clean. The buffet breakfast was delicious with variety of choices. The lake and the station are within 10 minute walk. We truly enjoyed our stay. Taking into account the weather changes, a tea-making facilities in the room would be helpful, but it's not something to mention in a dislike section.
