  Lovely Meißen on the beautiful Elbe river

  Liked: The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean and it is in an excellent location for exploring Meißen. Meißen is a charming town and there are lots of lovely views of the town and river from different paths. The porcelain factory and museum was of great interest. Decent cafe near the hotel if you don’t need a hearty hotel breakfast. Also a handy supermarket around the corner.

  Disliked: The shower was over the bath and it was rather difficult to get safely in or out of. The minibar fridge was noisy so we ended up not using it. Our room was up several short flights of stairs which wasn’t too bad except when we had to move luggage up or down. Overall these were minor issues.

  Good pension to stay for sightseeing in Meißen and vicinity

  Liked: Overall comfortable stay. Location is nice for sightseeing in the city as well as for public transportation to Dresden.

  Disliked: A better coffee in the morning would have been nice.

  Cozy and spotlessly clean

  Liked: Cozy, comfortable, spotlessly clean room. Stylish bar and dining room.facilities. Free parking. Great location.

  Disliked: The bathroom was quite small — it was hard to close the door without bumping into the shower tray. There was a slightly musty smell in the stairwell.
