  Liked: Location

  Disliked: Only good thing was the location. And the most problematic thing was the employees at the reception, when you ask something they stop and stare your face like you asked an impossible question. I will rate friendliness of bookkeeping 5 but reception 0 - 0 - 0. Be ready for the worst check in process.

  Not recommended

  Liked: Close to the railway station.

  Disliked: It was run down and not very clean. The walls and the door in the room were damaged. The room itself was tiny and lacked basic facilities like a water cooker. There was also an unpleasant smell in the corridor.

  Never again. Couldn't sleep

  Liked: Location, staff and price are the only positive features of this place. Located right in front of the flix bus stop, so ideal for an early morning bus. The staff are super nice and accommodating. I was assisted by Lodhi and he was professional and helped efficiently when issues came up.

  Disliked: I was in 2 different rooms because in the first one the charging outlet was broken. Both rooms had issues with the sink. The water wasn't going down, so after someone brushes teeth, it all stays there for a while. Rooms do vary in size. Room 120 was terribly small, not sure it's even legal to fit 6 people in that space. My other room was significantly larger. People always check in at night and have to make their own beds so imagine all that noise and switching on the light in the middle of the night. In a setting like this the beds should already be made! There is no place to place items, no shelves, nothing, very inconvenient. Zero soundproofing, all the noise from the street is in your room. Also I woke up with three huge bites (two on arms, one on the face), but they don't look like bed bugs, must have been something else. Bed frames make terrible noise when you move. I'll never book this hostel ever again, even if given a voucher for a free stay. I couldn't sleep for both of the nights I stayed and it totally ruined my trip to Nürnberg. This is a clear case of better pay more, because this money saving wasn't good in a long run.

  Just use for staying overnight

  Liked: The location is perfect, very close to main train station

  Disliked: There are gaps between the window frames and the windows themselves, allowing a significant amount of outside noise to enter. Pillows are big but not bulky enough which is not adaquate for me. Breakfast is announced between 7 AM - 10 AM and I joined breakfast hall at 9 AM and cheese and vegetable options are almost finished and staff did not renew them. Elevators are just a big surprise. Sometimes they’re working, sometimes not and you don’t know why.

Good to know
