  Liked: Beautifully renovated historic building with tasteful architecture and elegant interior design. Great attention to detail and exceptionally high-quality workmanship throughout the hotel. High-quality furnishings and equipment in both the rooms and common areas. Clean and very well maintained. Dog-friendly hotel. Fantastic breakfast with a very rich selection of organic products. Organic toiletries and cosmetics provided in the room. Paid parking spaces available on-site. EV charging stations available for electric vehicles. Excellent communication with the owner before and during the stay. Easy and convenient self-check-in process. Located in the charming town of Stein, close to Nuremberg. Ideal stopover when traveling to or returning from Italy and other destinations in Southern Europe. A perfect combination of comfort, sustainability, quality, and hospitality.

  Overall nice stay

  Liked: Great location, close to everything, especially historical Faber-Castell facilities. If you are into fine stationary - must visit. Overall good quality of rooms, plus some artistic originality.

  Disliked: Central location makes it a bit noisy at night. Beds are not very comfortable, too soft for me.

  Very disappointing taking into account the relationship of price to quality

  Liked: What there was available for breakfast was of very good quality but, sadly, a number of products were not available.

  Disliked: What there was available for breakfast was of very good quality but, sadly, a number of products were NOT available. I was told croissants were in the oven and would take 15 min, same with breakfast rolls. I had to ask for apple juice which was on offer but was out. The worst part of the stay was the room which faced the street and was EXTREMELY NOISY. It should not be offered at all as habitable space. Breakfast was added to the price (24 Euro per person) despite my using a filter on Booking for hotels with breakfast included in the price.
