  Would recommend and stay here again

  Liked: Right outside is the subway that takes you to main train station and city center. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, can check in early, self check in, host provides soap and shampoo.

  Maybe book again but only if construction is completed satisfactorily

  Liked: Breakfast was not included and not expected. Considering the price levels these days it was priced reasonably.

  Disliked: The property was under construction; while 2 showers were available, only one of them was useable. This shower was in the men's room and had to be used by women as well. Apparently my partner and myself were the only guests, so it did not matter but if other parties had been there it would have caused awkward moments. The toilet on the floor was another issue: very small, almost impossible to turn around, the door scratched across the floor. Only 1 toilet for the entire floor. Again: Since it was only me and my partner this was not an issue, but certainly would have been had other guests been there as well. The hostel was under construction and this should have been mentioned. A (even small) token, like 20 Dollars off would have been a nice gesture. Parking is another issue: one must find street parking, quite difficult in the area and be prepared for a long walk. Apparently one can secure parking for an additional charge.

  Perhaps once construction is complete..., VERY perhaps

  Liked: I raced the triathlon "Challenge Roth" and the location of White Pearl Hostel 1 was the closest available.

  Disliked: No designated parking available and this is a very crowded residential area, we found parking but a long hike from car to hostel. The hostel was under construction, fortunately nobody worked so noise was not an issue but construction items in the communal areas, women showers out of order, only one male shower (2 available but one does not drain), only one toilet available, which a stall too small and the door jams on the floor. No person / attendant on site.

  A comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights

  Liked: Great location, a 15-minute walk to downtown, with the subway and buses right outside the building. There are cafes nearby that open as early as 4 or 5 a.m. We stayed for three nights. The apartment is located in a courtyard, so it’s quiet even with the windows open. The bathroom is between the stairwells and has a small sink. There was soap and shower gel. In the basement, there is a shower and a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. There are some dishes and tea bags. You can make coffee for 1 euro. Moderately clean. Warm. Very comfortable pillow and mattress. Thick curtains. Fast internet. They respond quickly to messages.

  Disliked: A special thanks to the girl from the neighboring café who helps everyone find the entrance or check in! More of a suggestion: take a photo showing where the entrance is, or describe it in more detail. And send a message at least a day in advance. A guy from Mexico flew in while we were there, and he didn’t get your email in time and didn’t have internet access, so the girl from the café and I helped him check in.
