Liked: Great location and lovely updated room in the heart of old town Regensburg. Walking distance to everything and a fantastic farmers market right outside the door on the weekend. Great place to stay.

Liked: I thought the room was clean and comfortable. Spatious.

Disliked: Our room code did not work and staff never fixed it for us entire time we were there despite asking several times. They only gave us one room key.

Best hotel in 3 week trip and then there’s the town on top of that

Liked: Great place. Bedroom was very spacious and well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Small issue but the dining room could be a little bit tight but breakfast was very good

    Doesn’t live up to expectations

Liked: The only real good thing about the hotel is the location, which is in the centre of town.

Disliked: It markets itself as a four-star hotel, but I can't see how that's the case. The room, whilst big, lacks any furnishing or art on the walls. The noise that comes from outside, the windows overnight, was incredibly loud with a market that started up at 3 o'clock in the morning when they were setting things up and then continuing throughout. Sleep was incredibly poor when we were here. The staff, whilst friendly, are all young, so there's no real sense of elegance, and it seems to all be done on the cheap with lack of wisdom from the team, despite their efforts to do the best they can as youngsters. Whilst there are a few nice touches, such as apples in the room, it's disappointing that there is only one apple when there is a room for two people. The bedding as well is not high quality, and the room got incredibly hot overnight, so we had to open the windows and then all the noise coming in. The pillows are not feather and they feel cheap. The detail is lacking with the flush button in the bathroom behind the toilet seat, which means that you can't flush the toilet without putting the seat down. It feels more like a cheap hotel with a nice facade.
