Great German Breakfast
Liked: The German breakfast, the shower room is spacious, the room that is fully refurbished, the location is less than 1KM far from the bus/train station, the heating system works well both in the bedroom and the bathroom as well )

Terrible
Liked: Hotel or construction site? At least a construction site has coffee. We understand that the singular machine in the breakfast room can break, but it is strange that even hot water for tea was too difficult to provide given that the place has a full kitchen.
Disliked: The host kept repeating that the broken coffee machine costs €10,000-€20,000 and is too expensive to replace. One of the other guests, in vain, tried to explain that boiling water in the kitchen would at least allow us to make tea (or make filter coffee). The host refused because it was too busy in high season (there were 10 people in the breakfast room). The entire hotel was messy and dirty due to renovations happening at the same time. Worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

Liked: A 500 year old building inside the city walls with modern bedrooms and delicious breakfast easy walk to city center

In the midst of the remodel
Liked: Our room had been remodeled. So very modern. The location was off the beaten path, so was delightfully quiet
Disliked: Our travel companions occupied an old unremodeled room.
