  Timeless spacious rooms, great location

  Liked: Spacious rooms, bit old but timeless design, very comfy beds, charming building, perfect location right near the old town pedestrian zone. Plentiful parking a 5 minute walk away.

  Disliked: No kettle or coffee maker in the room – but they provided a kettle when asked. The decor is timeless and cozy but could still have a small update here or there. No elevator but walking up the stairs wasn’t too bad for us even with a baby.

  Historic inn conveniently located in the old town of Schwerin with a charming outdoor dining garden

  Liked: This UNESCO heritage building, a former wine handler for the royal family, is now an inn and restaurant in the midst of the old town of Schwerin. The lovely outdoor covered dining garden was very pleasant and the food was good. The rooms were spacious.

  Beautiful historic wine bar & hotel

  Liked: Very friendly staff, super clean, squeaky clean, comfy room, historic building (restaurant & wine bar).

  Disliked: Schwerin has cobblestone streets in the old part of town. You can't leave the window open because it's so noisy when cars drive by. No air con anywhere in Germany! Bring your fan and swimsuit.

  Liked: Great location, very spacious and clean rooms, fantastic dinner (wholeheartedly recommend) and amazing atmosphere.

  Disliked: Schwerin has a unique microclimate despite the current heatwave. We just opened the windows overnight to let the refreshing breeze in.
