  Apartment in the basement, but other than that ok and dog-friendly

  Liked: Apartment had all the necessary. The host was very nice to take an exeption and allow us to take the take our dog with us, although the site indicates animals not allowed. Despite my last minute request, they not only accepted, but also had prepared a "dog corner" in the apartment as well as food/waters bowls. Very nice of them.

  Disliked: Overall, the only problem is that the apartment is in a basement with small windows to let the the light in. I did not expect a lake view, but I did expect a normal apartment with normal windows, not to be in a basement. I do not think this wa mentioned anywhere in the site when I booked it, unless I overlooked it. I beleive this should be clearly stated and the apartment should be cheaper than a "normal" ground / upper floor.

  Liked: Great location, excellent service, and the red card included was a wonderful bonus!

  Disliked: The main drawback was that the private bathroom and shower were located in the hallway just outside the room rather than inside. This was not clear to us during the booking process, so future guests should definitely pay attention to this detail
