Liked: Stunningly beautiful location—awesome view and natural and peaceful surroundings—steps from a crystal clear Aegean Sea for swimming—and terrific, comfortable, well appointed and impeccably clean apartment. The manager Dimitri is the best. Don’t think twice, stay at this place.
Liked: What we loved most about our two-week stay at Poseidons Retreat was the exceptional hospitality and proactive approach of the owner, Dimitrios. He is incredibly helpful, always ready to provide any information you might need, and remarkably quick to respond to questions or requests. Most importantly, you can genuinely feel that he cares about his guests and wants them to make the most of their holiday. It makes a real difference. The accommodation itself is clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The separate kitchen, bathroom and terrace overlooking the trees and the sea provide everything two adults need for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The bed deserves a special mention: it is large and extremely comfortable, with one of those mattresses that somehow manages to be neither too hard nor too soft, just perfect. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, with everything you could need and then some. There are even three different types of coffee makers, so coffee lovers are definitely well taken care of! Guests have a SUP available to use, as well as sun loungers, a beach umbrella and extra comfortable chairs. The sea is just steps away, with a lovely shaded area where you can sit, a ladder leading directly into the water, and a fresh-water shower for rinsing off after swimming. The swimming and sunbathing area feels genuinely private. It is shared only by guests staying in the handful of small apartment buildings, all within a fenced, peaceful and safe property with parking. One important thing to know before booking: you really need a car here. The nearest bakery is about 2 km away, and the closest supermarket is 7 km away in the nearest town. Fortunately, Dimitrios offers an electric car for rent on site. Its range of around 250 km is more than sufficient for exploring the peninsula and even taking day trips to Athens.

Liked: Amazing location, short walk to beach with lots of shaded seating areas and to the hills above that offer panoramic views of the sea and hills. Hiked in the morning and swam or sat and read the rest of the day. Walk to the temple of Poseidon for more amazing views of moon rise and sunset over the sea. Close to restaurants and shopping. All amenities. Loved it!
