    Amazing stay!

Liked: Amazing location, view, room amenities, and size, very modern and great bed! Must book.

Disliked: All great, a bit tricky in the start to find the receptionist due to check in time, but not an issue.

Liked: Great Garden and outside area, super location, excellent staff

Disliked: Be careful when you book and first check what you book - most of the pictures with new and luxury furniture is from hotel, not the house. About the house - it’s on 3 floors, keep that in mind, also there is one bedroom who have no door and is not private, people who sleep there are connected with living room and it’s noisy. About the second room - there is one single bed who is ok, but the other double bed is up on the top floor with very small size, really low roof and you have to keep safe your head all the time. It was also really hot because of the reason it’s on top and the air could not go so high. A lot of things need renovation like bathroom / with broken showers/, door handles and so on.

    It’s not like the pictures

Liked: The girl at the reception was very nice and helpful.

Disliked: We paid €1,400 for 6 nights in August in a Double Room with Hot tub. For that money, we really expected everything to be up to par, but it's far from that. The cleanliness of the space should be better, especially in the bathroom, where the glass was dirty, as well as the toilet seat button. Everything is quite damaged, for example, the robes had holes. Cockroaches came out of the drain overnight, horrible. The hot tub is in a dilapidated state, quite damaged, and the water is dirty. I'm very surprised by the pile of extremely positive comments, but this is definitely too expensive and overrated.

Had high potential but has poor services, ended up overpriced and extremely disappointing

Liked: The only positive points about our stay here were the friendliness of the reception person, with only one exception on an issue related to the jacuzzi (she insisted that it was cleaned and blamed the water in Pefkochori, when it clearly wasn't cleaned in almost, if not more than a week, speaking from experience) and the fact that the stay has a parking lot included, which allowed us to drive stress free to other beaches because the one in Pefkochori is horrible. Most terraces and restaurants there, including Bakalis, which is owned by the same person that owns Emily's, took over the whole beach with extra restaurant tables and sunbeds, extending almost into the water.

Disliked: 1. The worst thing about our stay at Emily's was the fact that they refused to provide a refund when asked, under the conditions that less than one day before our check-in there was a major wildfire on the peninsula. Lots of people evacuated through the only access to the mainland. They told us on the phone "we'll cross the bridge when we get there" which is unacceptable considering we were looking at a roadtrip of aprox. 1300km to get to Pefkochori, which proves the absolute disregard for the safety of the guests. We took the risk and arrived half a day later past the check-in time, in order to wait for the wildfire to be contained. 2. We booked a suite with a private jacuzzi for 8 days and we paid almost €250/night for this stay. The jacuzzi was supposed to justify this price. We observed that the jacuzzi was extremely dirty. The water was opaque and misty white and the surface of the jacuzzi was covered in a thick layer of limestone. Even worse is the fact that we politely asked 3 times to have it cleaned. The jacuzzi was finally properly cleaned on our 6th day. We left on the 8th day in the morning so we got to use it only once. 3. Sometimes after cleaning the room, they would remove bed sheets instead of replacing them and take out the trash without adding a new bag inside the trash. 4. One waitress at the restaurant, Bakalis, has been extremely unfriendly towards us the whole stay. Arrogant behaviour although we did our best to be friendly towards her. She served us in the morning only. 5. The fruits served at breakfast weren't fresh sometimes and some jam jars that they served were expired in 2025. 6. The restaurant, Bakalis, has a very unethical practice of bringing products to the table that were NOT ordered and they charge you for them. Always refuse the bread buns and the water, unless you actually want them. 7.

Liked: The terrace, with sun beds and hot tub. Perfect location for beach access and sunbeds. The restaurant offered great selection for breakfast.

Disliked: The shower didn't have a proper screen so most of the bathroom got wet. The air-conditioning was a little tricky and took a long time to cool the room, especially on the first night.
