  The hotel doesn’t cost even the half of its price

  Liked: The location is the only good thing about this hotel.

  Disliked: The hotel is not renovated and it smells bad, the bathrooms are very old and disgusting, there is a problem with the canalisation and there are spider webs in the bedrooms. We booked 5 days, but stayed only 1, because of the bad smell. The bed sheets were with yellow spots too. All these facts ruined our holiday.

  Very disappointing experience with the hotel and Booking.com

  Liked: On the positive side, the food deserves praise. Both breakfast and dinner were very good, with a wide variety of dishes, and everything we tried was tasty. We would also like to acknowledge one genuinely positive gesture from the hotel. Due to a flight rescheduling, we arrived one day later than originally planned. The hotel kindly extended our stay by one additional day free of charge. We really appreciated this gesture and consider it a definite plus for the hotel.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, our stay at Possidi Holidays Resort & Suites left us with a very negative impression. The biggest disappointment was the room. When making the reservation on Booking.com, we relied on the photos shown on the website. However, the room we were actually given was completely different from what was shown in the photos. It had a very old interior: the walls and furniture were covered with numerous scratches and chips, and everything looked like it had not been renovated for many years. The floor was also dirty — we found hair and even a previous guest’s sock. There were only three power outlets for two rooms, which was extremely inconvenient. At reception, we were told that the photos on Booking.com showed renovated rooms, while we had been given an old, non-renovated room. The hotel staff refused to change the room, claiming that the problem was caused by Booking.com, which had only uploaded photos of the renovated rooms. This is completely unacceptable. We chose and booked the hotel based on the photos and expected the actual room to correspond to the information presented on the website. The experience with Booking.com customer support was equally disappointing. We contacted them several times regarding the mismatch between the room and the information shown on the website, but received no meaningful response or assistance whatsoever. This is extremely frustrating and has seriously undermined our trust in the service. There were also several other disadvantages. The lifeguard by the pool was particularly strange and unfriendly. One morning, he approached our children without even saying hello or introducing himself and started scolding them because they had entered the pool before 10:00 a.m. However, there was no clearly displayed information indicating the pool opening hours. Even if there are specific rules, they could certainly be explained in a much more polite and friendly manner.

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our holiday. The hotel has a great location, the food was delicious with a good variety every day, and the beach was clean and easily accessible. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

  Disliked: The only small downside was that the balcony door didn't have a mosquito net, so it was difficult to keep the door open in the evening without letting mosquitoes in. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
