Fabulous
Chrysa welcomed us had coffee and fruit and was so helpful organizing all the luggage, we felt incredibly cared for
Liked: It was a magical space, up the stairs so be ready to climb, really beautiful
Disliked: It was a big effort to climb up so better be ready for the day and plans
Stunning homely place
Liked: Everything. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated. Very quiet.
Disliked: Everything was great. Be aware of the steps to get there, especially in the heat.
Great accommodation for our time in Hydra. The location was quiet. At the higher end of the town which meant navigating
Liked: Perfect for self catering. Spacious and comfortable. It was as advertised and the manner was very helpful.
Disliked: A few issues in the property. The bathroom door did not function properly or close at all which was very inconvenient as it led straight into the small kitchen. Odd layout of the kitchen meant we did not discover a cupboard which held toaster, kettle, coffee plunger and other necessary appliances until the end of the second day. The cupboard had no handle and was obvious as it was blocked by the adjacent cupboard door.
Liked: Chrysa met us at the door with the keys. I failed to communicate with her about our arrival time and it was not clear which door was hers so I knoecked on the neighbors door who called her and she came right away.
Disliked: Hydra is very hilly. Make sure you hire a porter to take your bags from the ferry up to the house.
Liked: Location on mountain. 15’ from port.Great for hikers
Disliked: House needs a lot of care, cleaning, painting- cables hanging from walls, table bed lights not working. Needs new iron/iron board. Kitchen unacceptable
Liked: Our stay was just excellent. The house is equipped with all the necessary things for our stay and beyond. I appreciate that some thought went into the design of the house, giving it character. Chrysa was super nice and provided us with all the necessary info. The house might be located in the upper part of the island, but you know, this is how the island is. Again, we enjoyed our stay and wished that we could have stayed there a few days more.
