Exceptional
Liked: Good price and location, in the old town, near the beach and restaurants.
Acceptable but challenging, not luxury apartment!
Liked: The apartment was clean, the bed was comfy.
Disliked: First of all it was a challenge finding the place. Even with google maps and Waze. Drove around in circles for about two hours. We parked and went on foot asking the locals.at last one nice old lady showed us the place. The Sign is Small and unnoticeable.Second of all there are about 15 steep and narrow stairs and if you have even a medium sized suitcase like we did it’s hard to climb those stairs. Not at all suitable for people in their fifties and over like us. And we are quite capable of walking and climbing stairs. They have a picture of the stairs but they are not at all like the ones in reality. Also, they don’t mention there’s no elevator. The scenery from the window is a yard full of rubbish and the window from the sleeping room also shows a not very nice view. They don’t mention these things in the description. There isn’t a microwave in the kitchenette. On our second day there,we asked for fresh towels and Fotiny the owner said they give fresh towels only to guests renting the apartment for more than three days. This we think is unacceptable sanitation wise. But anyway after we asked again she brought us the towels.
Liked: Very nice location in the middle of old town. Apartment completely renovated 2024, clean, stylish, comfortable. Good size. Very good bed. Internet works perfectly. Special thanks to the host, Foteini, a young lady, who is very welcoming and approachable. She gave me good advise for example about local places to go for dinner.
The apartment is right in the centre of the Old Town, very near to the beach and shops
Liked: The apartment is small but very modern. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities were good. The apartment was clean. The host was very accommodating and responded to questions and messages promptly.
Disliked: A microwave and a ironing board would have been useful.
Beautiful apartment close to local amenities
Liked: This is a beautiful apartment, very well designed and decorated. The bedroom was large, the bed very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was a very good size and exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The apartment is very close to the centre, with a free car park nearby. Foteini was very helpful and responsive, obviously wanting guests to have the best experience in the apartment and Ierapetra. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Well equipped apartment
Liked: Spacious apartment, well equipped
