Good
An enjoyable nine days in Kalamata at the Alexandrion
Liked: Good value. Well thought out facilities including kettle and fridge and a lovely balcony with views to the long beach and the surrounding hills and mountains from sunrise to sunset. The bathroom is basic but has an effective shower with plentiful hot water, and the room is very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak English well, and there is a useful bus stop nearby for the number one bus which runs along the long beach and into the old town and to the bus station.
In urgent need of an upgrade
Liked: Having the balcony out onto the street (not to the side) saved our stay - without it it would have been grim.
Disliked: Very old decor and furniture in the room and corridor, smell of tobacco everywhere. Towels smelt bad.
Liked: It's a great location, the room was fine and the owner really friendly.
Disliked: The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke which in this day and age really shouldn't be the case or at least there should be a choice. Otherwise I'd give the place full marks.
It was perfect, we would definitely stay here again!
Liked: The location is excellent, and the owner is very kind. He did everything he could to make us feel comfortable and welcome!
Liked: Hotel is right on the seafront near resteraunts
Disliked: Bathroom bit cramped
Great location, excellent, friendly staff all around!
Liked: Excellent location, Excellent breakfast. Very nice staff! 😊
Disliked: Wish there was an elevator, but I already knew there wasn't from previous stays.
