Exceptional
Ok stay in Kalamata
Liked: Good: location, very central location with plenty of bakeries, markets etc all within walking distance. Check-in and check-out were easy and well communicated from host. Room was large and clean with plenty of space - we were family of 5.
Disliked: Bad: fool - sewer- type smell, probably from bathrooms- plumbing. We aired out the apartment when we were inside but when we closed up to go out and got back - smell had returned. Like another reviewer mentioned: some visible mold in shower and the shampoo - soap caddy in shower is rusted. Bed sheets: very used and rough - pilling. They need to be changed. These are easy fixes that should be done. They would make the stay more enjoyable.
Liked: Spacious apartment with everything we needed, two balconies, comfortable beds, feels like a home. The location is a walking distance to the old town and the marine, although it's not really in one or the other so feels a bit in-between, but nothing too bad.
Disliked: The bathroom needs some work - there's a bad smell of sewage (it's bearable but not the nicest), a bit of mold on the ceiling and the soaps holder is rusty. None of these is a deal breaker on it's own, but could be easily fixed to improve the experience.

Disliked: The shower didn't have hot water when we both took a shower after each other.

Liked: Spacious, comfortable, and clean apartment close to the center of Kalamata. Loved the designated parking space. Easy drive to the beach. Restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping block or two away. Grocery store right on the corner.

Liked: A great stay overall! The apartment was spacious, very clean, and had a nice balcony. It felt comfortable and well-kept. Parking was conveniently available right at the entrance of the building, which made things easy. The host was really welcoming and accomodates us in the evening
Disliked: The only downside was the shower — there was no holder to hang it, which made it a bit uncomfortable to use. Other than that, everything was excellent.
