Fabulous
This spoilt the end of our trip to the Pelopponese
Disliked: The broken toilet seat which we had for 5 days until we left. Noisy club below music playing until 6am. We had to go searching to buy earplugs. No hot water, apparently you have to switch on in fuse box ( no instructions. No cleaning, towels, sheets not changed during our 5 day visit.. very strange that when you take key out in room & have to unlock door, this has to be done in the dark as the lights go off immediately.Very weird that there is no time delay. The light above the basin in bathroom is more like a heater. This was described as a Superior apartment.
Disliked: Key card cutting power off during absence is hard to manage. Keys tightly attached to the card make door locking/unlocking procedure discomfort
Nice central Kalamata location along the beach, cafes and restaurants
Liked: Good size room, nice central location along beach and cafes/restaurants. Close parking available. Good A/C. Good size shower and kitchen facilities. Good stay
Liked: Very clean, seemed newly refurbished, super good location from the beach, very kind and helpful host, it was simply perfect for our stay.
Liked: Located in the center of the port and nearby beaches in walking distance, as well as plenty of shops, restaurants, cafeterias. Kinda close to city center too, like 20 min walk.
Disliked: The room is located directly above a nightclub, and music could be heard throughout the night. There are no shutters, and the curtains (even the thicker ones) were letting a lot of light in during the night.
Liked: Great location for winter. (in the summer I think it will be very loud due to the restaurant downstairs)
Disliked: There was no sign that the water heater is manual and have to turn it on to get hot water. This wasn't sent with the check in details and the argument "there is a sticker on the electrical board and how did you expect it to work" (there was not) isn't great from the staff.
