  Magnificent

  What a wonderful place to stay in Kastraki!

  Liked: The location was superb…a cozy house tucked into the rocks. The house was beautifully renovated. Harry, the owner, paid particular attention to details like using the existing rock to show through the walls as a design element. It had a really nice vibe that worked well in that amazing environment with the giant rocks outside. Inside the house was everything we needed. Excellent lighting, plenty of outlets comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. There was a loaf of bread, some cheese and meat and a panini maker in the kitchen, so we were able to make paninis every morning for breakfast. There was also a bottle of wine that we did not have time to drink. Communication with Harry was excellent. He responded quickly to every message. When we finally met him in person, we found him delightful. The location is very convenient. Minutes away from the restaurants in Kastraki and the monasteries, which were also amazing. We had a great time in Meteora and loved our little house. (There were some mighty nice kittens outside as well.)

  Amazing place in an amazing location with a wonderful host!!!

  Liked: The location is amazing!! So close to all the monasteries! But what really made my stay special was the host. Truly one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. I felt incredibly welcomed from the moment I arrived. There were snacks prepared for me, and the cake was so delicious! The host is just very kind!! The house itself is spotlessly clean, the bed is super comfortable, and everything was just perfect. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!! One tip: make sure to get the driving directions from the host before you arrive! Google Maps may send you down a very narrow road. Once you follow the host’s directions, though, the place is pretty easy to find and parking is very easy too.

  Disliked: Nothing! How can I find anything I don't like there!! It's a perfect stay!

  Lovely authentic place, beautiful views of surrounding landscape. Highly recommended

  Liked: Very tastefully decorated, lovely woodwork and attention to detail.

  Disliked: Take note of owner’s instructions to get there, do not follow google maps which take narrow detour.
