Liked: Good location, parking spot, clean place
Great place for a family stay in Kavala
Liked: Everything is great about the apartment. The location is mere minutes walk to the center, at the same time the area is quiet. The interior, facilities, kitchen and bathroom supplies - everything was perfect. There was even a box of various toys for kids, and mine were happy to play with them. The hosts are wonderful, very helpful. We asked if we could charge our electric car from the apartment socket, and offered to pay for it, but they just let us charge with no extra payment. It was a lifesaver!

Liked: The place is very clean and well organized. It’s truly equipped with everything you might need – from towels to kitchen utensils, and there were even complimentary treats left for us. Every window has mosquito nets, as well as external shutters and curtains, and one of them even has a clothes rack. There’s also air conditioning and constant hot water (which for me is definitely a big plus). Our host welcomed us warmly – she was very kind, helpful, and friendly, even recommending different places for us to visit. She also always replied to our messages quickly. There is a parking spot, which is highly appreciated when you’re in Kavala. We found it easily, as well as the apartment itself. The location is both a plus and, to some extent, a minor downside. On one hand, it’s really close to the center (about 3–5 minutes on foot), with all the interesting places nearby. It’s also quiet, with no outside noise. On the other hand, it’s worth noting that the parking spot is located directly under the apartment windows (the apartment is on the second floor), but to reach the entrance door you need to go up about 10 steps to reach the ground floor. Personally, I needed a bit more movement, so it worked out well for me 😄.
Disliked: As for a few small downsides: the way to the parking spot is on a steep slope, and once you get there, maneuvering the car (for example, to turn around) can be a bit tricky. However, after a few times parking, you get used to it. We also found it a little unusual that other cars were parked right in front of the entrance door (since it’s shared space for the building), but they didn’t cause us any noise or trouble. Lastly, keep in mind that there isn’t a terrace with a view (the windows face other buildings). This also wasn’t a problem for us, but the photos were a little misleading in that regard. In conclusion, we had a wonderful stay in Kavala and at Joy Spot apartment. We truly appreciate their hospitality and everything they did for us. The treats left for us were delicious, the apartment was comfortable and convenient, and the whole experience was great. I definitely recommend it!

Liked: Everything was excellent. It is close to city center and ofers a parking spot. You should ALWAYS go to center of Kavala first and than turn on Google maps, because it can lead you wrong! Eli who meet us with keys was great and helpful. Everything was clean and spacy. Great wy fy! wealcoming cookies was a nice touch.
