Liked: Thanos is a very good host, he always answered his phone and accommodated our every need. He let us stay much longer on departure day because our car had broken down. The apartment is spacious, clean with a huge bathroom, which makes a difference. The aircon is very efficient and quiet and sufficiently far from the bed to keep you cool without feeling the breeze.

Disliked: Although the view from the apartment matches the photos, the balcony is not really a balcony in the sense that it's not really private, it's very small and there is no real view once you sit down. The people staying in the apartment next door had to pass in front of yours in order to leave.

Smelly and in need of maintenance

  Liked: Has a nice view.

Disliked: Greeted by a smell of mould in the apartment, hair dryer not working, kitchen sink was draining very slowly, had to repair the shower ourselves. Dining chairs were broken. Overall we were shocked and couldn't understand the current high rating this apartment has. We were very disappointed with our stay here.

  Marvelous and peaceful stay

Liked: Spacious, clean, comfy, nice view. Room for 3-4 people. Nice host, very helpful.

Disliked: It’s a bit far uphill for walking. By car, it’s short trips, 5-10 minutes max, to everywhere in Kavala beach area.

clean, calm and very helpful host

Liked: I very much liked the opportunity to stay in a real Kavala residential neighbourhood, away from the tourist and business traffic of the city. The nearly midnight hour of our check-in was not a problem at all. We had a coffees on the house.

Disliked: I will recommend a clear and well visible sign/note on the property to indicate how to operate with the hot water boiler, in addition to the instructions the very polite host Thanos sends
