Fabulous
Liked: The tranquility, hearing goat bells every morning. I liked the rural location, yet being close to amenities. The trees and the garden were an oasis and star gazing at night with no light pollution was wonderful. No immediate neighbours, and a 7 minute walk up the hill there were 2 excellent restaurants. Angela was very helpful too.
Disliked: Only as a suggestion, the kitchen has a lot of character but could do with a little updating and some more utensils.
Excellent property, character and convenience, amazing location
Liked: Beautiful property, old stone hut modernised and very comfortable. Surrounded by trees, including some ancient olives, and great views. Very close to Kastron, with 2-3 restaurants, the castle and more, but also still with the feeling of being secluded - great combination, especially with kids.
Disliked: On a very steep hill, making parking a big car tricky….. but this is kefalonia and the villa is on a hill so also something to be expected!
Charming villa stay in th Kástron hills
Liked: Beautifully set in a private enclosure in the picturesque hills of Kástron. A well equipped and charming 3 bedroom villa with all the needed comforts. The pool was a little small but it did it's job at the end of a day at any one of the amazing beaches.
Liked: Everything!
Disliked: Nothing!
Liked: Very secluded with loads of rustic charm. Angela, our host, was fantastic. Showed us everything in the villa and left us to it but was readily available via WhatsApp if we needed anything. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Theres not much to do locally, so you do need to hire a car. Its not really a negative though because hiring a car is a great way to get about the island anyway. Bathrooms were a little dated and tired but were clean and everything worked as expected.

Liked: The location is fantastic. Very private and quiet. Angela was a fantastic host. The house is rustic and very traditional with some lovely features. The garden is large with a small pool and mature pine trees.
Disliked: The kitchen was basic (but very usable) and with a separate entrance to the main building. It could use some renovation (but we went end of season). There is a security camera. When booking, the photos for the 2 villas are combined. They are separate properties.
