Liked: This is the third time visiting Melina apartments and I would not consider staying anywhere else while visiting Kefalonia. Mr Kostas is very hospitable and has always looked after us, making sure our stay is going well and I look forward to his friendly greetings in the morning. The facilities are very clean and the apartment caters for everything. This year we chose to relax more by the pool which is well maintained and clean. We have already planned to visit again next year! Thank you for everything.
Absolutely amazing, no regrets, just what we needed
Liked: The place is very clean, the view is spectacular. There is this rule for cleaning only onces at 5 days. This is indeed somethings I could not take because I clean my house daily and honestly in vacation is absolutely unpleasant to do that. BUT… I ansked the owner if is possible to clean after 2 nights (we stayed 4 nights) and he did 🙏🏻🥰 The owners are absolutely amazing, very communicative and helpful. We are very grateful for this lovely peaceful accommodation.🥰
Disliked: The bed mattress was too strong for me and my back.. I could not rest but this is more a personal opinion.
Liked: *Nice and new apartments. *Big clean pool. *Fabulous views. *Convenient location close to Argostoli and Drepano bridge.
Disliked: *Parking is VERY tricky and even dangerous, especially with a bigger car. *As per accommodation's rules, cleaning takes place every 5th day. It means we did not get even a minimal maintenance (emptying the bins, terrace) during our 5 day stay, I had to do this myself. Given the price of the apartments, I'd suggest basic cleaning every 2-3 days, even without towel and sheet change for ecological reasons.

Liked: Kostas, the owner met us to give keys & ran through everything thoroughly. Lovely man, very cheerful & helpful.
Disliked: The parking is a bit scary as it's on a very steep incline & it's a bit tricky in the tight spaces, we also had a car with no rear view mirror which didn't help. Location is isolated so you'll need a car if you want to go out for meals or get into town - There is only 1 nearby taverna run by a local couple which is lovely & authentic, we did that for our 1st night, as it wasn't peak season they had a limited menu but great food. Note the apartment location is too far to walk into the city unfortunately but you can park down by the bridge & walk over which is lovely & you make it up for it in serenity & views staying here.
