  Unusual property full of character and many portraits. "Luxury apartments" questionable!

  Liked: A property with plenty of character. In fact we've never stayed anywhere like this before. Very close to Luxori restaurants and centre with easy parking beach side of property. Also a supermarket opposite on the road side.

  Disliked: The photographs on Booking.com show the penthouse apartment on the top floor. Our ground floor apartment was very different - especially the terrace which was small and had a rusty old umbrella cable tied to the railings which you couldn't raise up. Be aware there is a separate remote control for the ceiling fan/light over the bed.

  Fake!

  Disliked: Whoever called this place luxury apartments was lying. But first of all, two things to the credit of the place: the staff is very nice, and the location is excellent. On the other hand, the apartment we got was not even close to the pictures here. The room was cramped. No coffee machine, which is almost standard. No welcome items, not even a bottle of water. The shower was not clean, the shower taps are rusty and old. No soap and no shampoo. When booking, we were required to book at least three nights, but no cleaning or making of beds is done during these days. Very poor WiFi. Luxury?!?

  We had a fabulous time although the apartment didn't quite match our expectations from the pictures

  Liked: The location was good. Lixouri as a town if wonderful and there are a lot of amazing beaches close by. We had a fantastic relaxing time, swimming, eating, drinking coffee and chilling,

  Disliked: From the pictures it was hard to match your apartment (we were in the 2 bedroom apartment). It looked more spacious in the pictures and we thought our apartment had the wrap around balcony. Once we got over our initial disappointment we had a lovely time. There are no acs in the bedroom, but fans are provided to circulate the air, the kitchen is a little limited.

  Good base to get to know Lixouri and for day trips around Paliki, with stunning views

  Liked: Looked just like in the photos, beautiful apartment and huge terrace with large canopy to shade you from the sun. Had a lift which was useful as we were on the top floor. Easy and free parking behind the property. Supermarket just across the road and very short, level walk to fabulous restaurants in the town. There is a beach behind the property, but we liked Lepeda Beach more which is a 5 minute drive or 20/30 minute easy walk away.

  Disliked: As previous reviewers have commented, could have done with more kitchen equipment but to the owner’s credit when we asked for a kitchen sponge and tea towel to clean and dry dishes they were promptly supplied.
