  Exceptional

  Liked: This hotel is definitely one of the best choices on Kos island. Friendly staff, 100% holiday feeling. The food is always fresh and really good. Two pools, many activites and all in all a beautiful setting.

  Disliked: There was really nothing missing!

  Platanista is a majestic hotel located in a beautiful part of the island. Convenient to everything

  Liked: Great place to visit. I especially liked the large pools so that I could swim laps and relax. Everything is spotless, and the staff (waiters, housekeepers, chefs, managers) are all highly attentive to guests' needs. Nothing but the best.

  Disliked: Our stay was too short. There's really nothing that needs to be changed or improved. They staff take great care of the entire resort, and every guest matters to them. I can't think of anything that I did not like, and I have been back many times.

  Our favorite hotel on the Greek Islands -- great ownership, staff, facilities, and location in Kos

  Liked: The hotel has fabulous buffet breakfasts and dinners. There is great variety each day and between days -- like going to gourmet restaurant with lots of choices. Lunch at the pool bar is even better (assuming you can eat a third meal) -- a mix of Greek taverna food and comfort food.

  Disliked: There's nothing we did not like. We have gone back to the hotel many times and stayed for several weeks. No complaints.

  A very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

  Liked: The location was great, quiet and within walking distance of the city center. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a large buffet offering a wide variety of options. I particularly enjoyed having Nespresso coffee available at breakfast instead of the standard filtered coffee. It was a wonderful start to each day.

  Liked: Our family has been coming to Hotel Platanista for over 30 years. My sister and I grew up spending our summers here with the wonderful Platanista family. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as extended family. The staff are incredible … devoted and dedicated to giving guests the best possible experience with attention and care. The Animation team continues to foster a familial-like experience offering activities for all ages — from morning aqua-gym to nightly dance parties for the children. The rooms have been newly renovated with tasteful designs, warm tones, and the softest mattresses. The food is also superb; fresh, local, and simple ingredients make for delicious Greek dishes made with intention and practice. There is something truly special at Hotel Platanista, and I feel very grateful to return every year. P.S. be sure to try their pistachio ice cream!

  I would be very likely to choose this hotel again, in fact it would take something very special to change my mind

  Liked: It’s a very spacious hotel, and the architecture is pleasing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the gym was well-equipped, and not over-subscribed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower worked perfectly. The selection of options available at the buffet breakfast couldn’t have been bigger, and seemed to cover all tastes.

  Disliked: The flavour of the decaf coffee at breakfast was OK, but wasn’t the best - I can’t comment on the other options.
