  Astoria apartments great location good value

  Liked: The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was very good. The courtyard was nice to sit in, and there were steps leading from the back of the apartment leading you to the main walk without any steep steps to climb. The staff left you alone while you were there, someone did ask how my stay was, apart from that, no contact with them. l thought the Astoria was good value for the money, and right in the middle of town. You can hear music from one of the bars from nearby, but it wasn't too loud to stop you from sleeping.It has basic utensils, but an enjoyable stay, and l would definitely book again on my return.

  Disliked: Maybe a little better kitchenware, and a sign leading you to a better way to the main walk, at the rear of the apartment. but still good value for the money.

  Liked: We stayed in room 2.Excellent wifi in the room! Right in the heart of Lindos village and within walking distance to Lindos beach, St Paul's Bay & Pallas Beach. May not be suitable for those less mobile as premises is located up a steep hill just past the donkey station, and then there are steps down to reach your accommodation. Beds were surprisingly comfortable too given they are pretty much just a mattress on a raised platform. The young lad at the property is very helpful too - showed us to our room, answered any questions we had was happy to give recommendations on places to visit or eat or drink. He was also able to help us translate and speak with the owners of the property during our check in, sadly we didn't get his name but he's a great asset!

  Disliked: The room is very basic which suited our needs for just one night, however if you are planning a longer stay facilities in the room are very limited, just a kettle, fridge (with freezer compartment), one ring electric hob & hairdryer provided. There is no TV in the room either. Without wi-fi there is zero reception but the wifi is excellent once you are in your room.

  An amazing accommodation, highly recommended!

  Liked: This lovely accommodation is situated in a perfect location and has all the amenities you may need with a smooth check-in and check-out. We especially loved the air conditioning, the lovely inner garden and the beautiful pictures on the walls. The cleanliness was exceptional, everything was spotless! The owners were also amazing and helped us so much with everything we needed!

  Liked: Good location in the old part of the village, you can still kind of hear the partying around but also quieter and more detached. The people who run it are very nice and helpful.

  Disliked: The quality of the renovation of the old building could have been done much better (for the price point). The ventilation in the room was inadequate and natural light very limited to two very small windows that let light in (too much to sleep with) but not much air. There could have been better information about getting to the property with heavy luggage.
