  Tired and smelly

  Liked: The room is a decent size with a private bathroom. We had a spa bath on our balcony, which was uncomplicated and worked well. The staff are friendly and there is 24 hour service at the reception desk.

  Disliked: The room smelled of cigarette smoke and the bedsheets had been laundered but had a couple of hairs on them. We asked for the bedsheets to be changed and for a deep clean, which they provided, but unfortunately it still smelled. The walls had stains on them and there were cracks along window sills and doors, as well as peeling paint. One of the bedside lights didn't work. The safe does not work. The door to the balcony, which is partly accessible if someone climbed a fence, does not lock. The shower is partially blocked by limescale and rust, and you have to only use one or two settings or the water will go over the floor and the toilet paper. There is a hole sawed in the bathroom ceiling that has been poorly covered up. The toilet seat is broken. Upstairs, on the roof, most of the chairs did not have cushions, which was fine because we took some from a pile stored behind the bar. The next night we went upstairs and the cushions were completely gone. Similarly, the free breakfast was available and plentiful the first time we had it. The second time, there was one single plate for me and my partner to use, and only half the dishes from before. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and if I hadn't booked through Booking.com I would have asked for a refund.

  Not up to 4-star hotel standard

  Disliked: For a self-claiming 4-star hotel, the amenities and cleaning service are not up to the standard. Many items inside the room are old and broken, such as cabinet door is hanging loose,, shower cap as well, hairdryer (the part stuck to the wall is literally open showcasing the cables??), kettle literally stinks like death, hangers are each from different model/style, bed frame creaks, and mattress is as hard as stones from Lindos Acropolis. To top it all off, there's no sign (Do not disturb/Clean the room) available. So every morning I was disturbed by the cleaner at around 9:30 to 10:30. When I said I needed more time, she sighed loudly and got angry. That was weird af.

  Hotel is worn and outdated, does not reflect the pictures on advertisement

  Claims to be a four star hotel but it definitely isn’t - we would rate it 2.5 stars. It needs some serious investment to

  Liked: The staff were friendly and the location was amazing - in a slightly quieter area but still very close to beaches, shops and tavernas (10-15 minute walk). The breakfast was plentiful, with a lot of options, and fairly good quality food.

  Disliked: I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but would like to be honest about my stay. The first room we were given was substandard - there were broken lights, missing lightbulbs, no lights in the hallways, meaning we had to use our phone torches to see the way to our room. We asked to be upgraded and, having paid an additional fee per night, we were given a room with swim-up pool, which was slightly bigger and slightly better quality than the previous room; however, unfortunately there were still issues with the second room. The sofa had a mould stain on it, the tap in the bathroom was broken/loose and the freezer in the fridge had an ancient ice cream left in it! In both rooms they provided a kettle but no cups or crockery to accompany it. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, with the hardest mattresses we have ever slept on. The quality of the facilities - eg. main pool area, fitness centre - were fairly tired and tattered; for example, the fitness centre has some machines but only three plates which didn’t match/weren’t compatible with all of the machines. The showers by the pool stopped working halfway through our stay, and the ‘rooftop bar’ is just a neglected space. In summary, it was definitely not worth the money we paid for it.

  Was a comfortable stay, could do with some love very basic

  Liked: Close by to everything, great views

  Disliked: Was quite basic, breakfast was no variety, main pool was very shallow and not really swimmable, would need a car to go here as nothing to do in hotel

  Would reccomend, close walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets and beach

  Liked: Lovely property, friendly staff and breakfast was really good. Roof top bar is breathtaking.

  Disliked: Bars closed really early, but after talking to George we understand it’s out of season and staff are busy elsewhere now.
