  Liked: Location is brilliant and Helena the host is absolutely lovely. Beautiful sunny Balcony overlooking the beach.

  Avoid at all costs!

  Disliked: If you want black mould, limescaled toilets, and a stale smell that doesn’t clear even with the door wide open, this is the place for you. Despite being called 'Vlycha beach apartments' and advertised as 'seafront', you'll need binoculars to see any sand. The host made no effort to greet us, chatting on the phone whilst we stood with our bags for 15 minutes before she told us the room was 'not ready' and 'to go to the beach'. On checking where we were the property is nowhere near Lindos- one hour walk away. After being sent to the beach for an hour and a half, we returned to find the room still wasn't ready, and we were offered a seat on the room's balcony while they finished. The balcony, meanwhile, was actively being waterlogged from a dirty water pipe while we regretted our decisions. When we finally got in, the room had black mould, heavy limescale in the toilet, cracks in the walls and mirrors, and an ever-present stale smell (see photos). We tried to address these issues with the host, who continuously said 'you saw the cleaner' and 'it was spotless ', and we decided to hand the keys back to her as she became hostile and we had no intention of staying in the room. We immediately decided to call Booking.com to cancel our stay and consider refunding due to unacceptable conditions. Despite our efforts over the last two weeks and sending Booking.com the photos, Booking.com has said there is 'nothing more they can do as hosts are 'unreachable' and offered 10 euros for our trouble. We have not been refunded, and they continue to deny the room was unclean despite the photographic evidence. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

  It was a fantastic stay and brillant value for money just the shower is a bit small and ants were getting in. The balcon

  Liked: It was in a good location to the beach only a 2 minute walk and about an 8 minute drive into Lindos Square! Taxi rank is also just on the beach

  Disliked: The shower was too small, the new towels didn’t smell the freshest and ants were getting in under the door.

  Liked: The location is great, near the beach and Lindos old town. It is clean and we had everthing we neede including private parking.

  Good location. Bad accommodation. Dirty and uncomfortable bathrooms and pillows. OVERPRICED

  Liked: The location and the fact that we had parking was the only good part about this place. Its very clothes to Vlycha Beach and very clothes to other beaches and good restaurants by car. There was also a supermarket attached which we did not use but was good to have.

  Disliked: The bathroom was dirty. The shower was dirty and small. I only showered there once because the shower was so small I would keep touching on the disgusting old shower curtain. The pillows were not comfortable.

  Lovely place

  Liked: We really enjoyed our stay. We had the best time, I just wish we could have stayed longer. The accommodation was perfect for what we are after: comfy bed, aircon and the terrace outside. The garden was beautiful too.
