  Liked: The location was great; the beach was only a 4–5 minute relaxed walk away. There were also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which made the location very convenient.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, the breakfast was quite poor and had very limited options. We rented multiple rooms, and some of them were extremely small. In some bathrooms, the shower area was so small (approximately 0.5 × 0.75 m) that you could practically shower while sitting on the toilet. Regarding toiletries, for our stay, we were provided with only one small bottle of shower gel and one small bottle of shampoo per room, which was not enough. Towels were also only changed after three days, which was inconvenient, especially during a beach. Cleanliness could also be improved. We noticed dust/dirt buildup in some areas, and some of the towels provided were stained.

  Really good value for money, excellent staff, good premieres and well taken care of. A quality stay that I reccomend to

  Liked: The service was excellent, everyone was so kind and tended to your needs. No loud noises, always lively however so it never feels uncomfortable. The room was spacious too.

  Disliked: The toilet was a bit faulty. You had to press it twice otherwise it would block and run for hours on end. Shower also had no shower curtain so water went everywhere

  Liked: Dear Mila Malia Management, Having spent a very short transit night in your hotel on our way between a very late landing at Heraklion airport and our traditional holiday destination of Plakias I and my lady have to express thanks for your unexpected hospitality. We did not want to drive out rented car too far in the middle of the night and Mila Malia provided a shelter exactly as it was needed. Our stay was short and our room was small indeed, however, we were dutifully expected till 2AM and warmly welcome both during our very late check-in and during our farewell breakfast. This was far above our expectations and far above a routine contact with random guests of our kind. Many thanks. Jiri (=George) Soucek

  Good value for money

  Liked: In general everything was ok, from the cleanliness to the kindness of the owner and staff, the simple breakfast, but we expected that and had good products. We received great support and guidance from the owner.

  Disliked: As in other situations we encountered, the room was different and smaller than it appears in the presentation photos. Because we only stayed 3 nights it didn't bother us and it was more or less ok, but for a longer stay I would have warned about the differences.

  Liked: I stayed in Mila Malia studios for 11 days with my partner. Everything about this accommodation was exceptional, from cleanliness, hospitality, location and the general beauty of the hotel. The breakfast provided was delicious, very fresh Greek traditional food. The rest of the menu throughout the day was 10/10 also. The gyro plate was my favourite dish there and I thought they made the best one out of all the places I had been in malia (so fresh). The staff (Manos, Oti and Faidon) were unbelievably welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were always clean and lovely to spend time in. The cocktails were amazing. Such a beautiful bar and hotel, a great vibe throughout. I will without a doubt, being going back again next year!
