  A lovely stay at one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen

  Liked: Once we discerned who would meet us, the lady who helped us was very kind and helpful. The property being so close to the entrance to the old city was a huge advantage (people at other hotels had to get porters to transport luggage). The property was really beautiful and well maintained. The views from the balcony were unbelievable.

  Disliked: I followed the instructions but there was still confusion about who would meet us. The coffee pot didnt work and the cooktop was not very intuitive - we had to look up directions for the cook top online even just to boil water. There was a French press but it required us to figure out the cook top. Adding a plug-in tea kettle to the kitchen would make things much easier. This was not a problem for us but might be helpful to know: There are 3 bedrooms (one bedroom on each of 3 levels) with the main entrance being on the middle level. There is a steep spiral staircase to go up or down from the entry level to the other bedrooms/levels. One person in our group was not able to use the staircase so they used the bedroom on the entry level (which had its own bathroom) and everything was fine. If however you have 2 individuals/couples who might have difficulty with a spiral staircase, you might want to take it into consideration.

  best view

  Liked: The house was nicely decorated, it had a great view, and very good location, first house when you enter the castle city.

  Disliked: some appliances needs some restoration/replacement. Not very bad condition but it's the condition of the city in general, as it's very humid environment.

  A special gem

  Liked: Beautiful property. The location was excellent. The old building charm with modern conveniences. Fantastic experience.

  Disliked: We would have enjoyed some comfortable lounge furniture outside. It was such a beautiful place to gather.

  A non luxurious place in a great location

  Liked: Casa Rodanthi is centrally located on the main street very close to Monemvasia gate inside the old town. The three floors layout feels spacious and the rooms are bright with incredible views.

  Disliked: Although the property is renovated, some areas need maintenance like the door to the terrace, all the windows with the nets, the basement bathroom with the old equipment, the ground floor bathroom toilet and door. The appliances in the house especially in the kitchen are very old and very difficult to use. The bottles of shampoo and dishwasher are extremely old and refilled with water. While the property was fairly clean, it was not a “luxury” stay at all as the name suggests.
