  Liked: The rooms are perfectly located at the center of the new town, very easy to reach by car and a private parking is available. The area is beautiful, with the view directly on the rock of the old Monemvasia, which you can easily reach on foot. We had a nice balcony too. Breakfast was included, buffet is some kind of small, but it has everything one would need, the top for me was the fresh pressed orange juice! The communication with the host was great, very easy and always ready to answer quickly when needed.

  Disliked: We did the mistake to book an economy room and for the 2 nights it was a bit too small for us, also the bathroom was tiny, but everything was functional. I got the impression that there was a lack of soundproofing; for those who are more sensitive, I might suggest using earplugs.

  Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience

  Liked: Apart from very good receptionists that were very helpful in the situation we had and location I cannot say much more good word about the place.

  Disliked: We had an absolutely terrible experience and are extremely disappointed with the condition of this place. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty, with an amount of mold that I have honestly never seen in my life. It was so bad that we went to the supermarket ourselves and bought cleaning products to clean the bathroom because I was genuinely concerned that using it as it was could lead to skin problems. The toilet seat was yellow all around, which is completely unacceptable in accommodation that is supposedly being cleaned for guests. And please don't blame this on “high season.” This was clearly not a temporary issue caused by being busy. The level of dirt, mold, and buildup made it very obvious that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned or maintained for a very long time. The shower was another disaster. Pieces of plastic were broken and were eventually completely removed the next day, leaving large holes in the shower door. As a result, every time we showered, water flooded the bathroom. This is not just unpleasant — it is a basic maintenance and safety issue. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that we specifically asked reception to only take out the trash the following day because we had cleaned the room ourselves. Even that simple request was completely ignored by the cleaning staff. We have stayed in many places, and we understand that things can occasionally go wrong. But this is far beyond a minor inconvenience. Guests should not have to buy cleaning supplies and clean mold and dirt themselves, nor should they have to deal with broken bathroom facilities and flooding. It is honestly shocking that guests are expected to pay to stay in these conditions. If cleaning services are advertised, the accommodation should actually be clean and properly maintained. We are extremely disappointed and absolutely cannot recommend this place. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had.
