Our trip back in time to the Byzantine era!
Liked: First of all the location of the suites, the courtyard and the layout of the apartment was incredible! All necessary amenities were provided and the host was a very good communicator with clear and useful instructions. We were a family of four and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay atbthe suites and being inside the Kastro!
Disliked: Honestly there was nothing we didn't like at the suites, a lot of thought and effort had been put into making them an unforgettable experience.
Liked: A truly fairytale stay in the heart of the Castle Town! The Menexes 2 suite was beautiful, with unique décor, breathtaking views, and all the comforts our family needed. The location was ideal for experiencing the magic and atmosphere of Monemvasia up close. A place that feels like it came straight out of a fairytale and is so difficult to say goodbye to… We will definitely return! ❤️ We highly recommend it!
Book the Family Suite with Balcony!
Liked: The location is superb!! Close to the entrance of the castle and also close to the rocky beach inside the castle. All amenities and restaurants are very close, but the castle is quite small anyway. The Family Suite with balcony was EXCEPTIONAL!!! Extremely spacious, with 3 balconies, amazing views over the sea and town and we would come back without second thought!!! This was one of the highlights of our holidays.
Disliked: The only issue was the "Junior Suite with garden view". For some (weird) reason it was more expensive than the Family Suite and we initially thought that it had something special... However, our experience was negative because it is nested like a cave (quite romantic), with some humidity and no physical light. We also had some issues with the A/C and the bathroom. In all honesty, the hosts were helpful and reimbursed us with a fair amount (thank you!!!).
