  Friendly family inn with great views, large rooms, and great views

  Liked: Giorgos and his family were excellent hosts. Very friendly and helpful with good advice. The rooms are quite large and comfortable. Well appointed, solid furniture. We had a room and balcony with a view of the sea. Well worth it! Breakfast was on the front terrace every morning and quite plentiful. Each morning was slightly different and delicious with homemade pastries, fruit, eggs, and more. Not a buffet, but a personally delivered meal.

  Disliked: There was an armoire in the room for hanging clothes. My only complaint is that there wasn't a chest or shelves to put away other clothes. We were traveling for a month and had a lot of stuff to deal with. So we used the couch for that. Made us look slobby.

  Great view. Great value. Great staff

  Liked: View, cleanliness, friendly staff

  Disliked: Parking is not ideal but when the property is on the side of a hill it’s what you have to work with. It worked out fine. Also lots and lots of stairs to and from town.

  This property makes you feel like you are in a lovely villa

  Liked: The property is at the top of a hill with an incredible view. The room had a balcony where we could enjoy it. The room was large with an old-world feel. Breakfast was incredible out on the patio. It's a small property but very cozy.

  Disliked: It's a bit of a challenge to park at the top of the hill - very limited. It's the only way to get your luggage there without climbing steps, you still need to walk a ways to the hotel so be prepared. To get to the old town, you have to go down quite a few stairs and then up again. I wouldn't recommend it for people with mobility challenges.

  Liked: The hosts were exceptional, very friendly, warm and welcoming. As a solo traveler this means a lot to me. The room I stayed in is on your left when you enter the building. The decor is elegant, the bed was very comfortable, lots of pillows. Beautiful bathroom with shower and tub. The balcony was perfect, sturdy outdoor furniture with cushions. Nice view of the sea and beyond over the rooftops. The breakfast is sensational and very fulsome. They prepare the tray of food for you and bring it out to where you're sitting on the open air terrace. This includes coffee or tea and fresh squeezed orange juice. Just awesome! I couldn't eat all of it so I kept the leftovers for lunch or a snack.

  Disliked: Finding the location was a challenge. The facility info on Booking says, street parking. But that's not true. The Pension is located on a narrow paved lane not accessible by car. Parking is available and free, but it's in a small parking lot which is conveniently only a three or four minute walk from the Pension. Google Maps will take you up the stone drive to a small fortress which is up the hill and directly above Acronafplio Pension. I've discussed this issue with the owner and have offered to prepare a set of directions including photos that he can share with future guests. Other than this fixable issue, everything was perfect!

  Liked: This is our second time here, so that says it all! It’s not perfect, but it’s a quiet place, easy to reach from a nearby parking lot (which is a big plus in the old town). There are no stairs to climb with your luggage

  Disliked: We already knew from our previous stay that the breakfast was poor and contained too many carbs. We brought some extra food of our own, such as vegetables, cereals, and chia seeds.

  Liked: The room was interesting. We are seniors so it was difficult getting to the place. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.

  Disliked: Hard to find. Initially our GPS gave us inappropriate directions until we contacted the accommodation and they came and got us.
