Exceptional
A fabulous stay
Liked: The apartment was very well equipped. It was clean and bright and very comfortable. Takis, the host, messaged regularly to check if there was anything I needed. It was close to the bus station and well located, but also very quiet abd peaceful.
Disliked: The steps up to the apartment are a challenge, but part of what you expect from a building in the old town. Takis and Mary provide a clear warning about this prior to finalising booking.
Lovely apartment in the heart of the old town
Liked: Lovely, quiet, centrally located apartment with wonderful amenities.
Disliked: As a property on a hillside in the old town, it is only accessible via a long series of uneven steps, which, while full of character, can be difficult to navigate with bag (the owners are very upfront in the listing about the steps and the associated challenges)
We had an amazing time
Liked: a very lovely apartment, with everything you need. very comfortable beds, and everything was easy to navigate.
Disliked: If you have trouble walking it might be difficult to get to the apartment, as there are quite a bit of stairs to get there and no ramps.

A perfect little spot in a beautiful town with superb views - quiet and comfortable
Liked: The location is excellent as it’s at the quiet end of town but very close to everything - supermarkets, markets, restaurants, castle and fort and only a ten minute walk to the beach the other side of the headland or ten minutes if it’s windy to a protected pool beach this other side. We had a car, we went to other locations four times and it was never a problem to find a spot close by. You cannot complain when it’s made clear in the description. Parking is free everywhere which is a bonus. The beach is free. The apartment is small but perfect - we stayed a week - just two of us. It’s comfortable. The sofa, bed, pillows and everything were very comfortable. It was very clean. The covered patio is excellent to sit in the afternoon and evening. It doesn’t get any sun (late September) so it stays remarkably cool inside the house, even when it was 34 outside one day. We did not use the aircon once. On a cool wet day it was warm inside. The WiFi was good and we streamed and no issues. The washing machine is excellent as it has a 30 minute quick wash. There was no outside noise whatsoever so it was blissfully quiet to sleep. We prepared food quite a bit from market produce. The oil, salt and jar of fresh herbs, honey and jam - perfect. Takis was always responsive. The detailed information is very welcome - it’s all very thoughtful and detailed.
Disliked: Would have liked a couple of bigger wine glasses - but we are Australian - what can I say!
