  Good location

  Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Almathia! The location is excellent, right in the heart of town, just above Taverna 1926 (which serves good food) and beside a pharmacy, so it’s super easy to find. It’s also only about a 10-minute walk from the port. Spiros and his mother, who run the place, are incredibly warm and hospitable. The room was clean and much more spacious than it looked in the photos. A special touch was his mother kindly gifting me a small bottle of liqueur,such a sweet gesture! A lovely stay with wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Naxos!

  Disliked: Nothing but just note that it does not come with an elevator so we had to climb 3 floors. Also at time it can be noisy since it is beside a singing bar. For us, it’s manageable.

  Fantastic, definitely will stay in the same place if we visit Naxos again

  Disliked: The wall facing the side balcony, hopefully next time we visit the place it has been renovated. Spiros was very helpful and explained that this issue is out of their control as it has to do with adjacent building.

  Excellent location and nice clean apartment

  Liked: The property was an easy walk from the port and our hosts met us and carried our luggage up the steps. Restaurants right out the front door and an easy walk to the fortress and Apollos gate.

  Disliked: There was some noise from the restaurants next door and below us, but once we closed the shutters we hardly heard anything. We were so tired it didn’t disrupt our sleep.
