Guest reviews
Exceptional
Liked: Very welcoming hosts and great location
Liked: The service we got at this hotel was amazing. Mother and son was very helpful, knew it was going to be good just from the reviews. 1st day we got a huge cake that the mother made and tasted lovely. 2nd and 3rd day we also got breakfeast. I recommend you stay here if you want a lovely stay. Hotel is close to the beach and many markets also.
Disliked: Nothing at all
Very safe for a solo traveller. You’ll feel like family
Liked: I had no idea I would be stepping off a ferry alone onto a Greek island I’ve never been to only to discover I was apparently now staying with my long lost mother. I arrived and fell ill quickly. I messaged the host and was quickly met at the door with water and medicines that would soon make me well again. Not to mention the amazing food delivered to my door nearly daily. They checked in on me, helped me call a taxi when I was trying to get into old town and made sure to tell the driver not to rip me off. As a solo traveller it was really scary being somewhere I don’t know the language or customs and be alone and sick. I laid in the bed and cried but their quick hospitality made me know I made the perfect choice with accommodations. This little apartment felt private, had everything I needed, a large bathroom and shower, a kitchen with everything you need to cook, a clothes rack to dry your clothes. I never needed the ac but there was one in the room and plenty of blankets for the chilly night. The location is steps from a market, the bus stop, the beach and a restaurant.
Disliked: I only wish I could have stayed longer!
Excellent value for money in Agia Anna
Liked: This was at the end of the season, so I got a very good deal indeed - I would say unbeatable value for money (can't say whether the same applies to the rates in high season). Photos and info are correct. Apartment clean on arrival and cleaned daily; towels and bedlinen are also changed regularly. In terms of cooking facilities - there's a 2-burner hob (1 small burner for coffee, 1 medium) and an electric kettle (some other small appliances, too). It was enough for me cooking for myself and I'd say would be fine for 2 people, but not ideal if 4 people are staying (max capacity) and you intend to cook a big family meal. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The daily home-baked treats were a welcome surprise:) Good location (if you want to be in Agia Anna, which I did), although I wouldn't say it's a very important criterion as Agia Anna is small enough for everything to be within a short walking distance. Overall very happy and would stay again.
Disliked: Nothing major really. Some things like a bathroom doorhandle in need of repair, but all still usable, so no complaints really. Just bear in mind than this is a half-basement level apartment, so not much natural light (ventilation is good though - can create a cross-draft.)
Perfect place to stay and come back
Liked: Sunday Studios is the perfect place for a stay in Agia Anna. The location close to the beach and the bus station. Easy connection with Chora and the airport. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms is well equipped.
I would come back agin
Liked: The owner waited up for us until 2:30 am, he handed us our keys and gave us a tour of our apartment! Also left us some rice pudding and some other snacks. It was very clean and peaceful to be so close to the beach and to have really good restaurants around! The mom was also very sweet during checkout! great place for friends!
