More than a hotel—it felt like a second home, with friends waiting for us
Liked: We came to Santorini for our honeymoon expecting to fall in love with the island, but we never expected to feel so at home. Azalea Houses was much more than just accommodation. Everything was spotless, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The peaceful atmosphere, the stunning cave house, and the perfect location made our stay unforgettable. What made the biggest difference, however, was the people. Nikolaos and the entire team treated us not like customers, but like friends. Their kindness, warmth, hospitality, and genuine care made us feel as if we were staying with family. Every recommendation, every conversation, and every smile made our honeymoon even more special. During our entire seven-night stay, we never once felt the need to ask for anything. Every detail had already been thoughtfully taken care of before we even had to think about it. From the cleanliness of our room to every little comfort, everything was exactly as it should be. Every evening, when we returned, it truly felt like we were coming home. It was this incredible attention to detail that made our stay so special. When we left Santorini, it didn’t feel like we were simply leaving a holiday behind—it genuinely felt like we were leaving our friends behind. Thank you, Nikolaos, and thank you to the entire Azalea Houses family. You didn’t simply provide us with a place to stay—you gave us memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Liked: Had a great experience at Azalea Houses. The host was very helpful. We stayed for two nights. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.
Perfect quiet place to relax and take in the magic of Santorini
Liked: Loved the character and authenticness of the property. Staff were amazing, thank you Nikos! Loved my stay here. Short minutes walk to Lefkes restaurant which is just stunning. An absolute must stay to be out of the busy areas and of the views of the volcano aren’t a must, but within walking distance of Oia to get your tourist fix
A unique stay
Liked: A unique place. Quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to Oia and close to the bus stop. Excellent communication with the host. Got help with our bags from/to the parking lot (downhill from the bus stop when arriving)
Disliked: The staff starts cleaning the patio in the morning, so we couldn't eat our breakfast there. But not a big problem.
Perfect stay
Liked: Nikos was really nice and helpful. The location is really good and not far from the touristic area (but far enough to not suffer from the crowd). The appartement is absolutely gorgeous, spacious and clean.
Simply wonderful!
Liked: WON-DER-FUL!!! We’ve just spent 8 nights at Azalea and we are thrilled with this experience. The villa (Deluxe Cave) is simply beautiful, decorated with so much taste, while also keeping the practical aspects in mind. There is everything there for an unforgettable and very comfortable stay, Nikos is a very welcoming host, and his team of helpers are efficient and discreet. The caves are located in the heart of the charming village of Finikia, with a lovely sea view, but without the crowds of the more “popular” sites of the island. Oia is less than 5 min by car, and Fira about 15 min (driving with an incredible view). It is really THE perfect spot to discover Santorini, we can’t wait to be back. 😊
