Liked: The location is amazing and super serene!
Disliked: It’s at the bottom of Oía in Ammoudi Bay so expect quite the climb to Oía. We knew this going into the trip so it wasn’t a problem for us.
Remote and beautiful view
Liked: Amazing location with a great view. The breakfast was included and always tasty, plus it was nice to have a complementary bottle of wine. The room was very pretty and the jacuzzi was a highlight.
Disliked: Due to the incredible location at the bottom of ammoudi bay the hotel is a bit remote compared to the rest of Oia. In order to get up to the city by foot you must climb many stairs
Great place to relax and do nothing
Liked: Great location, although because of the steps not suitable if you have mobility issues. Enjoyed the views of the sunset from the terrace. Apartment was regularly cleaned. Comfortable bed and lots of hot water in the bathrooms.
Disliked: Hot tub was not very hot. Temperature was increased when I asked the staff but still could have been hotter. Having breakfast delivered was good but not a lot of variety and no table or chairs to eat at. Terrace and hot tub aren’t outside main door but up some stairs on the roof.

Liked: The view was absolutely incredible, we could see the hanging octopus from our balcony
Disliked: The only issue we had was the smell and air of the indoor spa/pool, it hurt our eyes a bit and smelt a bit chemical.
Enjoyable stay in Ammoudi Bay
Liked: This apartment is tucked away just above Ammoudi bay, a small and pretty port with a couple of restaurants right on the sea front. The apartment is rustic and cute with self-catering facilities, an outside decking area looking out to where the sun sets, and a mezzanine floor which adds sleeping room for 4 people in total. The bed was very comfortable and the internet service was good. There were a lot of steps up to Oia itself but we enjoyed it. It was fun seeing the donkeys going up and down too. We also enjoyed the supplied breakfast and found the owner very friendly and helpful too.
Disliked: The apartment feels quite dated and could do with refreshing. The shower was awful - neither clean nor enjoyable as you couldn’t get the handheld shower to work independently of the overhead shower and the tray didn’t drain properly. The style of it was also quite space agey and dark - not at all matching with the rustic cuteness of the apartment. We also didn’t like the painted chipboard below the jacuzzi and the missing silicone touches which make a place feel fresh and finished. The place is a bit tired. It could also do with some soft cushioning added to the outside furniture for pouring in the sun comfortably.

Liked: Nice area good view
Disliked: Need some maintenance. The place is really nice so up keep is a must. One of our friends got bitten by bugs or spiders, she think it came from the Crack where the bed was against the wall. She got bad reaction and had to go to pharmacy to get meds.
