Exceptional
Liked: Quiet, good breakfast, big rooms.
Based on ratings I was disappointed in this experience. While it was clean and had friendly staff, i found it uncomfort
Liked: Friendly staff, easy & close parking, location in town
Disliked: The hairdryer hose had a hole in it so it didn’t work. The bed was hard & had a sloped middle part. The chairs very uncomfortable.
Great and well priced stay for the Olympic sites. Nice breakfast too!
Liked: The guy who works at the front desk is superb. He welcomed us (an other guests), gave us a great dinner recommendation, explained the best way to see the Olympic archeologic sites, and gave us a paper map. The desk was staffed when we got back late at night too.
Disliked: nothing.
Comfortable room, great location
Liked: Comfortable room. The hotel is in a great location, close to tavernas, shops and the ancient sites.
Perfect Olympia Stay
Liked: Hotel Pelops is a classy comfortable hotel in the perfect location to walk from. We enjoyed everything about our stay.
Do not eat the breakfast
Liked: The room was decent and seemed clean. It was located close to the ancient ruins.
Disliked: The man at the front desk (maybe the owner) Was initially kind, telling us about the area. He encouraged us to go to their breakfast in the hotel in the morning. So we did. It was alright for what we thought was a complimentary breakfast (it had the same stuff other hotels in greece offered as complimentary). Then when we went to check out the guy insisted we owed home 20 euros because breakfast was 10/person. We paid the man though we were not happy about it. That breakfast was not worth 10 euros each and it did not say anywhere that it cost 10 euros. Nor did the man tell us when he being friendly initially.
