Exceptional
Panic, anxiety mixed with frustration but good location
Liked: We absolutely loved the location, close to the beach and lots of places to eat nearby.
Disliked: Apx 1 hour before check in, we received a message that we would no longer to be able to stay, told to cancel and given 3 other locations to stay at. Then 1 hour later were then told to stop in and that everything actually would work out. When the original cancellation went through with Booking, I was blamed for cancelling and while attempting to come up with cash as the ONLY form of acceptable payment, was threatened to be kicked out. Please recognize the US is open different hours and talking to companies in the US to arrange cash payment takes time. We realized it was a Friday but literally cash was the only thing that was acceptable per owner. Highly suggest having alternative electronic payment available as not too many travelers have that amount of cash on their person. Also highly suggest taking time assess situation before completely overreacting and putting everyone in a panic not only for the moment but for the next day when it takes time to get payment and you are on vacation and have things already planned and previously paid for. It was such an awful stress ridden experience that could have been remedied much easier to accept electronic payment..
Beautiful house in perfect location
Liked: Perfect location close to everything - old town, restaurants, shops, buggy hire, beach. Large house with plenty of room, views of the beach, air con, balcony.
Liked: Amazing sunset view. High ceilings. Very friendly and helpful host. Good services and quality of refurbishment. Way better than the photos make it look! 2 Balconies..... Thanks Manolis
Perfect holiday, would recommend to anyone
Liked: Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house is beautiful and full of character with so much history that it instantly makes you feel at home. It’s even more spacious in person than it appears in the photos, which was a lovely surprise. The location is perfect—right at the beginning of the town centre, so everything is within walking distance, yet it’s still peaceful even when the nightlife starts. Being able to see the beach from the apartment made every breakfast and relaxing moment on the sofa even more enjoyable. Manolis is the kind of host everyone hopes for. He is incredibly kind, accommodating and always willing to help with anything you need. He arranged our airport transfers, gave us excellent local recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Liked: Manolis created a very special place full of character A homage to family.. Perfect location with a beautiful view over the ocean and sunset.. equipped with everything you’d need.. Manolis is an excellent host.. clearly passionate about the space he created. Highly recommended!
Once again, seeing actual house is way much better than pictures
Liked: First of all, I have to say that the house is so much better than I expected. My husband and I loved the place and we would love to go back. Location is awesome! We had the breakfast every morning with fantastic ocean view. The restaurant around there are all good foods. I HAVE TO SAY the house definitely exceeded my expectations. Seeing real house is way better than pictures. We went Naoussa for one day but we love where we stay in Parikia Manolia house and we highly recommend the place!!!
Disliked: Opening the laundry machine was a bit hard but we figured it out:)
