Liked: The cleaner was fantastic, super lovely, Nikos is kind & clearly a very nice man. The location is good and the rooms were big and nice and well air conditioned. The property itself is clean, beautiful (old and authentic) and well located. The cleaner was very kind and cleaned the room each day which is a nice touch.
Disliked: The location itself is nice, but the stay had a number of issues that made it hard to enjoy. There was no reception or tour desk despite this being advertised, and no check-in instructions were provided: I arrived with no one to meet me and was eventually let in by the cleaner, who doesn't speak English (which is fine but maybe someone who can should be there to greet people), after she called the owner and handed me the phone. Over the phone I was told, with no apology, that I'd need to change rooms halfway through my stay due to a "mix-up with the booking." The WiFi did not work properly for most of the stay despite repeated requests to have it reset, which meant I had to buy mobile data out of my own pocket to get any work done. To be fair, the owner seems well-meaning. But between the lack of check-in support, the unresolved WiFi, and the room change, this wasn't the smooth stay the listing suggested, and I wouldn't book here again without those issues being addressed. It's extremely loud at night due to the acoustics. Even just with people walking through the hall outside the rooms, it's very loud. So if you are wanting something restful I would look elsewhere due to the noise & disorganisation causing guest inconvenience.

Liked: The apartment and building were clean and well maintained. Great location, with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. The kitchen utilities were a little basic, but enough for cooking simple meals. I really enjoyed my stay.
