  Amazing location with a magnificent garden

  Liked: We were delighted to return to Zontanos Studios, a picturesque spot that has become very dear to us. Mr Nikos, the host, was already waiting for us and provided us with a studio equipped with everything we needed, where everything worked perfectly. The room is comfortable and spacious, with a lovely view from the balcony, it has a comfortable bed, chairs, small tables and a kitchenette for preparing meals. The property is very well looked after, with plenty of trees, shrubs, flowers and greenery, amongst which you can spot some adorable little cats. The owner, Nikos, is very friendly, kind and attentive; he is always on hand for guests, ready to respond to any request or resolve any issue that might arise. The rooms are cleaned and maintained daily to an impeccable standard. The bed linen and towels are spotlessly clean and are changed at the first request. The staff take their duties very seriously and carry them out with great care. Mrs Eleni is a very kind, attentive and friendly woman, always ready to help or offer useful advice alongside her colleague. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, our dear friend Nikos, for a wonderful holiday that went by so quickly. We sincerely wish him plenty of energy, good health and strength, so that we may have the chance to see him again in the future. We (the „big friend” and Fotini) will certainly be happy to return to the place where we feel right at home.

  Disliked: People with higher standards and expectations might well opt for a more upmarket location. Those with mobility issues or with children in pushchairs might want to bear in mind that there are a few flights of stairs to climb, but much of the island is rather hilly, with plenty of inclines. We experienced some days of blazing sunshine, but there were also days of torrential rain and thunder. In any case, Poros remains a wonderful place, with friendly people, and is well worth a visit, even for a short stay.
