Stay here and enjoy the town

Liked: Top for location but the hospitality was also amazing. We loved walking down into town everyday. Breakfast was super yummy and loved having coffee with the host. Our room was spacious and the a/c was cold.

    Disliked: Nothing!

Away from the crowd, with a beautiful view

Liked: This hotel is not located at the centre of everything, but for me that was a plus. The view is awesome, and the area is a lot quieter than in town. You could hear the cicadas. The swimming pool was super convenient - I used it a lot, even though I went to the beach every day. Breakfast was decent, and the staff was very welcoming.

Disliked: There is nothing I actually didn't like, but I remember thinking I couldn't take my mom to this hotel because of all the stairs. If you prefer to be in the middle of the noise, this hotel is not for you, but it was good for me. I just have the feeling it was a little bit more expensive than it should, but that is not my decision to make, and it wasn't so much more expensive that I don't recommend staying here.

Not for those with mobility issues

Liked: Room we got upgraded to was beautiful, apartment with separate living room and terrace. Views overlooking the port. Lovely big fridge.comfy bed, lots of space. 10 mins walk into town and the guy who greets you gives you lots of suggestions for restaurants, bars and how to get to the beaches etc, so listen to him cause Finika’s is a stand out restaurant and we are their twice.

Disliked: They tried giving us what I can only describe as the most basic room. Tiny, no balcony, hand held shower head over the toilet. They told me this is what I booked until I sat there and showed them every room advertised on their own site and not one of them came with no balcony. We got upgraded but at £120 a night not a great start. Also WiFi does not work in the room, this is an ongoing issue and they keep saying it’s getting fixed but nothing happened. People say at reception to get WiFi. Breakfast was basic, served till 10am, we went at 9.20, no eggs, no bread. Had to ask but the lady wasn’t all that friendly and we didn’t bother going again. Pool is pretty murky, we went in one day but then just went to the beach. You literally can’t see the bottom of the pool. Shower by the pool does not work. Towels were like sandpaper. Aldo do not hook this hotel if you have an issue Ruth steps, 72 to be precise from the back entrance to our room.

Liked: Great host and hotel. The only surprise that I wasn't expecting are all the steps to reach the hotel but that is no one fault. Just something to keep in mind that if you are walking from the port to the hotel, it is uphill and many steps.

We will be coming back sometime soon, well deserving of a five star review

Liked: Vis was a great host made us feel at home he seemed to be everywhere at the right time. From our room we had a lovely elevated view of the port. The location was far enough from town to be peaceful and chilled, yet close enough that you could walk the beautiful streets below and reach the restaurants and bars. One thing to add, Vis gave us a digital google map of the best places to visit, bars restaurants and beaches etc, we used this a lot. The pool was lovely with a great view, the breakfast was buffet style and served in a lovely courtyard. The room was large, had everything we needed. Overall this was the best accommodation we could have wished for. Thank you Vis and Thea Hotel.

Disliked: Nothing, it was the perfect stay.
