  Great family holiday overall

  Liked: Beautiful Villa with great views of Skopelos, Lovely and clean well equipped with a midweek change of towels and bedding.

  Disliked: Access from Skopelos Town is up a narrow road with bends and very steep in places. Not for the faint hearted. There is a more gentle route which is longer but much easier if you are not comfortable with the shorter route.

  Lovely villa overlooking Skopelos town

  Liked: The Villa is spacious, in a quiet part of the hill behind the town of Skopelos. The villa has 3 good size rooms, each with their own bathroom. Lots of seating for sitting on the terrace, balconies, the pool area. The pool is a nice size, gets a lot of sunshine, and looks over Skopelos town. Rustically designed, with good facilities. Pandelis is helpful, and very responsive to my queries, and picked up up from our ferry arrival. We would walk into town down the hill, and taxi back up the hill later (Pandelis can provide car rental referral, and taxi referrals).

  Disliked: Nothing to mention on here.

  Comfortable villa with pool up high in the mountains with spectacular views

  Liked: The villa was spectacular. High up on the mountains. As good as the photos. Every room had amazing views of the port and mountains. Pandelis our host met us at the ferry and we followed him in our rental to the house. And was always available for any need we might have. The weather wasn’t so great so not much swimming. But the pool was clean as a whistle and the lounge chairs so comfortable. So were the beds. Please note -going in and out of the driveway was a challenge due to its steepness. We stayed a week and of course it got easier each time. There was a market that delivered groceries! Nina Supermarlet Skopelos Wolff +30 698 660 3385 and Nina speaks English. Quite and away from the crowds.

  We had an incredible time at this amazing property. The views were stunning and the villa very comfortable for 6 people

  Liked: The location was incredible with views to die for. Only 15 mins from Skopelos town. The pool area was great and the rooms very comfortable. Each had its own terrace and bathroom. We had an issue with the air con and messaged the host and the next morning someone came to fix it.

  Exceptional

  Liked: Beautiful villa. Wonderful view of the town. Clean and tidy. The host was extremely helpful with anything we needed or asked.

  Disliked: The B road to the villa is a bit hairy, but you get used to it quickly, and it is not well used, so there is not much chance of meeting a car coming the other way, thankfully,

  We had a wonderful stay at Villa Avaton!

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Villa Avaton! Our host, Pandelis, was absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. When our bags were lost from Athens to Skiathos, he went above and beyond to assist us with the transfer from Skiathos Airport via taxi to the port and ferry to Skopelos. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a memorable example of his generosity and care. The villa itself was perfect in every way. With 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3 private balconies, it gave each of us our own space while still allowing us to enjoy time together as a family. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the beautiful garden and pool offered stunning views over Skopelos Town. To make the arrival more comfortable, some basic essentials like fruit, bread and other food items were thoughtfully provided. A small touch that made a big difference, sparing us from having to rush out for groceries. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend Villa Avaton to anyone visiting Skopelos! Thank you again Pandelis!
