  I am glad that I decided to stay at Egnatia Hotel

  Liked: If I ever return to Thessaloniki, I will certainly try to stay at this hotel again. The entire staff—from the managers to the housekeeping team—is kind, incredibly helpful, and genuinely committed to resolving any issues that may arise. I felt very safe there. The bathrooms are small, but fully functional and very clean. In fact, although the hotel is not new, the attention to cleanliness is evident everywhere. The hotel itself is located just 2–3 minutes from the Antigonidon bus stop (served by the 01X bus, which runs directly from the airport) and is a 5–10 minute walk from the traditional market and Aristotle Square (where there is also a metro station). Right nearby, you’ll find a supermarket, several shops selling fruit and other goods, as well as cafés, a bakery, and an affordable restaurant. I found the hotel breakfasts to be very tasty. While the selection remained the same throughout my four-day stay, it was quite substantial, and I believe there is something for everyone.

  Hotels are competitive- I could have done much better for myself

  Liked: I didn’t have breakfast because it starts late at 7:30 and I had to catch a bus.

  Disliked: I was in room 107 and with my suitcase, there was barely any room to move. It’s always disappointing on the rare occasions when there’s not a hot water kettle at least to make coffee in the morning.
