  Great location and super host

  Liked: I liked the location and the communication with the host. It was clean and it was good for a short stay

  Disliked: I didn't like that I had to turn on the boiler for hot water. We arrived at the property late in the night, I wanted a shower. Imagine my surprise when I realized there is no hot water. I had to heat it then take a shower. Other than that, everything was fine.

  I don't plan to choose that option again

  Liked: The location of the room was good.

  Disliked: The elevator is very small, basically only suitable for one person, and both the building and the elevator are quite old. The building also feels a bit stuffy, and getting up to the floor where the apartment is located can be quite tiring. Also, I arrived in Thessaloniki early and tried several times to contact the host to ask about an early check-in possible, but unfortunately I could difficulty reach them. I was initially told that the room wouldn’t be available until 3 PM, so as I urgently needed to rest, I booked another hotel and paid extra. Later, around 12:00 noon, I received a message saying the room was ready. I just wish I had known earlier, as I could have avoided the extra expense.

  City break gem

  Liked: The location. It was very central. Compact with everything we needed for a short break. Very clean. Great shower. Good communication from owner. The bottles of water in the fridge were much appreciated.

  It was ok for a one night stay to get the ferry the next day. I was travelling alone so could deal with the basic amenit

  Liked: It was well located and fairly large- easy to access.

  Disliked: Very basic facilities. Bed was very hard. Toilet seat loose, shower hose leaking, hot water cylinder electrical cover loose and dangerous. Fridge icebox completely iced up. WiFi was terrible at about 1.5-3mpbs.
