  Not my Galway Girl

  Liked: I liked that there was parking, although 13 Euro per night, I guess thats what you have to consider when parking over night so close to the city center? But considering the price of the rooms I've got cheaper, fancier rooms with parking included elsewhere.

  Disliked: We asked specifically for a quiet room, because of one of us being sensitive. At first they got us a back room, away from the high traffic and loud street. But, that room had the entire hotels exhaust brumming just outside the window, creating a loud constant 100 dB noise and vibration in the room. We asked politely and got moved, though we got moved to the front street, which had loud cars and trucks constantly passing until ~11:00 PM and starting again at ~06:00 AM. It was better, but definitely not quiet. The rooms were very expensive too, and outdated, no hand held shower head in the bathroom, some wear and tear of all furnitures and the bathroom. The breakfast was alright but other 4 star hotels around Ireland had more to offer, omelette stations and what not.

  Liked: Over priced for what you serve. Prefer to order Al La carte not a buffet The Dan in the bathroom was ridiculously loud and took for ever to shut off. We heard the same complaints from other hotel guests as well

  Disliked: Fire alarm without feedback why- but was not charged for parking Fan took forever to shut off and loud. We didn’t use the light at night since it as so loud

  Served us well

  Liked: Hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

  Disliked: Location is a little schlep but not terrible. Shower design needs SERIOUS rework…water leaked onto the floor significantly. The issue being the partial glass door and and an inferior gasket on the bottom.

Good to know

When booking more than 5 rooms, group policy applies with a deposit of 50% at time of booking. Cancelation policy for any groups bookings more than 5 rooms is 14 days prior to arrival.
