  Very comfortable, great location and Vinny was very helpful and welcoming

  Quiet and comfortable place to stay in Galway!

  Liked: My friend and I weren't interested in partying late, so we were looking for a quiet place that was close enough to the heart of it all. Lisheen Lodge was ideal! A short walk from everything we wanted to see, and very close to Tesco (because I forgot to pack an umbrella). The breakfast was just what we needed to get our day started. And Vinny was a wonderful host -- he helped us to feel at ease as soon as we arrived. I'll definitely consider staying here again if I ever make it back to Galway.

  Loved it! Thank you Vinny!

  Liked: Very comfortable place! Felt like staying with family as Vinny, the owner, made a point of welcoming us and checking in with us each morning at breakfast on our plans and suggesting options for our day. Also loved that it was close enough to easily walk to downtown and the Salthill promenade, and that there was a small lot with room to park our car.

  Disliked: There was no common area to sit except the breakfast room and the chairs there weren’t comfy enough to just relax in.

  Liked: The owner was great and very helpful. He had a ton of local recommendations which we enjoyed checking out. The room was very clean and comfy. The breakfast was wonderful. Great presentation and lots of options to pick from. Easy to walk from the Lodge to downtown Galway, if a bit long.

  Excellent location, great host. Place needs upgrading

  Liked: the location was perfect and the host was quite wonderful. Good continental breakfast. I told the host that I am a vegan and the second day he had almond milk for me.

  Disliked: The room was maybe the smallest we have ever stayed in. It was claustrophobic. The bathroom was so small that we had to duck our heads down under the shelf by the sink to brush our teeth (after first hitting our heads on the shelf). There was no TV. Also, the drains in sink and shower were not clean.
